Equipment Repair Workshop
October 8 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm$60.00
Come spend an evening with one of the industry’s premier equipment repair technicians as she helps guide you through some common calamities with your scuba equipment.
This is NOT a repair course and you will NOT be qualified to service or overhaul your regulator. You will become proficient in diagnosing a problem in the field, learn a quick fix or two to help you finish your dive day as well as get comfortable with the inner workings of your own equipment.
Bring your Regulator and BCD so you can recognize what your equipment might do. Please provide the year (if you can), make and model of your equipment so that Debbie can be as prepared as possible and you can have to most informed experience. If you have multiples, pick the ONE you use most often as that is all we will have time for. This is important advanced information, so please make sure you are entering correct information. If you do not have your own gear, please don’t worry. We can help you out with that as well. The only tools you will need is a brand new toothbrush and a dental pick. If you do not have a dental pick, Debbie will have some at the seminar for sale. She is pretty particular about dental picks, so if you don’t already have one, pick one up at the seminar. Additionally, if you have access, bring a set of wooden chopsticks (none of that new fangled metal stuff). Yes, she is a little unconventional, but it will be well worth while.
We are springing for Pizza. Please bring your own non-alcoholic beverage. This evening is both social and educational. If you are not mechanically inclined, this is perfect for you. If you are a whiz with tools and toys, this is perfect for you. If you dive and have NO INTEREST in equipment repairs then this evening is ESPECIALLY perfect for you.
